2023 Finalists write to their MP's in support of Great School Libraries

We have been very impressed with this year's PLAA finalists who are continuing to support their own school libraries and school libraries across the UK by writing an article, suitable for publishing in the school newsletter to parents, explaining why the school library is important and what difference it has made to students in the school. In addition to this they are working on ideas for a project that would attract students to the library. We are looking forward to seeing the outcome of these projects from our wonderful group of 2024 finalists and you will be able to view their work on our website soon.

In the meantime, have a look at the brilliant letters last year's finalists wrote to their MPs in support of the Great School Libraries campaign. Maybe you could ask your student librarians or regular library users to send a similar letter to their MP.
